Pro 26:12: “Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.” - Verse 12 seems to be a watershed for the whole chapter. Fools cause terrible things. Foolishness seems to come from looking to my own “wisdom” rather than God’s or rather than seeking outside, godly counsel.
