On Proverbs 26

v4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
Or you will also be like him.

I like this one because it lets me avoid engaging fools. I've skipped a few meetings because of this proverb.

  1. Pro 26:12: “Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.” - Verse 12 seems to be a watershed for the whole chapter. Fools cause terrible things. Foolishness seems to come from looking to my own “wisdom” rather than God’s or rather than seeking outside, godly counsel.
